Important dates for our Youth League:
January 7, 2012 – General meeting for those players & families interested in the Inter-City Filipino Basketball Tournament 2012. Topics on the agenda: 1) Expense for next year’s tournament, and 2) Fundraising Goals. We expect to see ALL current and future players be present at this meeting. As we grow as an organization, it is important that we set expectations, understand why we fund-raise, and where the money goes. We definitely welcome new players and families to attend this meeting.
Location- International Food Court, Viet Hoa Shopping Center – Beltway 8 and Beechnut. Food court is located on the far left of the shopping center. We will meet from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm.
This is a great time to ask questions regarding the Canada Tournament and a great opportunity for NEW families to interact with our organization. We will also give the medals we promised to those who participated in the Fall Youth/Girls League.
January 28, 2012 – Join us for our PSAOT Pizza Party and Jacket Donation Drive. We will be collecting gently used jacket and donating it to the Star of Hope Foundation. We hope that you will support us in this effort.
January 28, 2012 – Team Deadline for forms for the PSAOT Spring League. Individual & team forms MUST be submitted by this date. If your son is of the ages for Boys 13U, 15U or 17U and would like to play, but cannot form a team, please fill out the “individual form” below and we will assign him to a team in one of the division.
February 4, 2012 – OPEN GYM at West Houston Indoor Soccer. $5 per player. This allows newly developed teams to practice as a team and work on chemistry.
February 18, 2012 – PSAOT Spring League start!! Remember, we’re allowing 3 non-filipino, but of Asian descent players to play on each team, if need be. Please spread the word, especially if your child has teammates from school that would like to play.
